Building the Future: HL Contractors Connects with Students at Kennesaw State University’s Career Fair
At HL Contractors, we’re passionate about more than just delivering high-quality commercial projects—we’re also committed to building strong relationships and investing in the next generation of industry professionals. That’s why our co-owners, David Lee and Sidney Huguet, recently attended Kennesaw State University’s All Majors Job Fair, held on March 25 and 26, 2025, at the Siegel Recreation and Activities Center.
The All Majors Job Fair brings together students and alumni from a wide range of disciplines, offering them the chance to explore career opportunities and connect directly with employers. For HL Contractors, it was the perfect opportunity to introduce students to the world of commercial general contracting—an industry that combines strategic planning, problem-solving, and hands-on project management.
David and Sidney spent the day meeting with students interested in learning more about the commercial side of construction, from interior buildouts and renovations to tenant improvements across a wide variety of industries. They offered insight into what it’s like to work in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and spoke about the importance of communication, reliability, and teamwork in delivering successful projects.
Sidney, who holds commercial general contracting licenses in multiple states, emphasized the opportunities available in the field and the value of gaining real-world experience. David shared stories from HL Contractors’ past projects and highlighted the company’s mission to deliver high-quality results while building long-lasting relationships with clients and partners.
Attending events like this one allows us to connect with motivated individuals who are ready to take the next step in their careers. As a locally owned and operated business, HL Contractors takes pride in being active in the community and inspiring future leaders in commercial general contracting.
We’re excited about the future—and we’re always looking for great people to be a part of it.
