David Lee
Principal / ceo

David co-founded HL Contractors in 2015 and plays a key role in guiding the company’s Pre-Construction and Project Management efforts. He also leads New Business Development and Market Expansion, helping drive HL's continued growth.

With over 15 years of experience in interior commercial construction, David has developed a deep understanding of the office, financial, healthcare, retail, and restaurant sectors. His attention to detail, responsiveness, and customer-first approach have earned him a reputation for building long-term, trusted relationships.

Originally from Atlanta, David graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Business Administration. He now lives in Athens, GA, with his wife and four children. When he's not working, David enjoys traveling with his family, playing golf, and watching college football. 

Sidney Huguet
Principal / CFO

Sidney is one of the founders of HL Contractors and the CFO of the company. He is responsible for developing leadership, implementing corporate objectives, and overseeing all financial activities of the company. 

Sidney began in construction in 2001 as a residential project manager in Miami, while still in college. After graduating, he started his commercial construction career developing shopping centers around metro-Atlanta. Before founding HL Contractors, Sidney worked his way up the ranks with national retail contractors – primarily focused on building big-box retail and grocery stores across the US and Puerto Rico. 

His past experience allowed HL Contractors to start and continue to grow with national retail clients. Sidney credits his success and repeat business to his resourcefulness, communication with his clients, and responsiveness. 

Sidney Huguet grew up in Miami, FL & received his degree in Business Management from the University of Florida. He holds commercial general contracting licenses in 8 states. He currently resides in Athens, GA with his wife and three kids. Sidney enjoys traveling and staying active.
